Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a software engineer/SDET to develop and maintain automation software for verification and validation of medical device systems. Design, build, and execute API and UI automation frameworks using C#, C++, WPF, and .NET technologies.

Collaborate with V&V and R&D teams to define software requirements and specifications. Enhance and refactor existing automation code to improve performance and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field required
• 2–6 years of software development or SDET experience preferred
• Strong proficiency in C# (mandatory), C++, and WPF/.NET technologies
• Experience with API and UI automation and test frameworks
• Knowledge of Windows-based development and SQL data handling
• Experience in regulated medical software environments is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation software for verification and validation of medical device systems
• Design, build, and execute API and UI automation frameworks
• Collaborate with V&V and R&D teams to define software requirements and specifications
• Enhance and refactor existing automation code for performance and maintainability
• Perform root cause analysis and support defect resolution
• Work independently on automation projects with minimal supervision
• Support test strategy execution and improve software testing efficiency
• Maintain and update tools used by the SW V&V team
• Ensure compliance with software quality standards in a regulated medical environment
