Job summary

Medical Devices Company in San Diego seeks a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to lead test automation for user-facing apps, APIs, and databases. You will design and maintain automation strategies and build tools to verify core services and interfaces with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in software development and testing, strong C# and Selenium experience, and comfort working with cross-functional teams on complex systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer science or an engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Test Coverage (Test Case/Test Scenarios/Code Coverage).
• Develop tools and frameworks to support test automation and provide design artifacts/diagrams.
• Object Oriented software design for web apps, API and web services.
• Develop and test Web Applications, API, and Web Services with knowledge of HTTP, HTML, DOM, XML, and JavaScript.
• Create and maintain shared libraries and frameworks to increase team productivity, collaborating with Developers, DevOps and Testers.
• Follow coding best practices and participate in code reviews.
• Demonstrate expert-level coding in C# and Selenium for automation.
• Work independently with limited direction and quickly learn product domain.
• _spend_75%+ of time on programming/development in Test.
