Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking an Assembly Technician to perform routine tasks in product assembly, bonding, potting, and soldering. You will read blueprints and diagrams to assemble probe components and may operate automated assembly equipment. The role requires working under a microscope and handling small parts with precision.

Candidate must have a High School diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and strong manual dexterity. Overtime may be required in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Basic computer proficiency expected; Microsoft Office experience a plus.
• Must be able to sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods and use a microscope.
• Follow verbal and written instructions with good communication.
• Willingness to overtime as needed.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to work in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tasks in Product Assembly, bonding, potting, mixing epoxy, installing covers and other components.
• Read blueprints or diagrams to assemble probe components.
• Perform solder touch-up or secondary soldering as needed.
• Assist in wiring, epoxy, final assembly/lensing.
• Operate hand tools and possibly automated assembly equipment.
• Work under a microscope for extended periods.
