Job summary

Merit Medical Systems is seeking a production team member for the Eve shift in South Jordan, UT. You will perform a variety of medical assembly tasks, rotate through the line, and visually inspect products to meet specifications.

You’ll assist with change-overs and operate equipment while maintaining quality and safety standards. The role requires English (or Spanish) literacy and at least three months of assembly experience, plus the ability to follow instructions and work as part of a sterile

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English, Spanish or meet local language requirement.
• Three months of assembly experience required.
• Capable of rotating through and performing all tasks on the assembly line including technical tasks requiring precise motor skills.
• Ability to visually check work performed and identify whether a product has been assembled correctly.
• Ability to follow instructions in performing repetitive tasks.
• Attentiveness in performing tasks.
• Ability to provide new process suggestions
• Ability to work as a team member in assembling sterile medical products.
• Ability to meet line rate expectations.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of medical assembly and processing tasks as a production team member.
• May rotate through the assembly line, performing all production assembly operations.
• Conduct inline and in-process visual inspections to ensure specifications are met.
• Assist Team Leader and Technicians with change-overs.
• Operate equipment at or above expected levels and ensure quality conformity.
• Reject products outside of specifications and adhere to safety standards.
• May operate testing equipment for periodic product and process testing.
• Perform other related assembly and processing tasks as required.
