Job summary

Abbott in Scottsdale, AZ seeks an entry-level electronic assembler to perform assembly and test tasks on pacemakers and related devices in a clean-room environment.

You will use microscopes, hand tools, and test equipment, following documented procedures to ensure quality and compliance with FDA regulations and GMP standards. High school diploma and six months of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Typically six months or more of related assembly experience.
• Must be able to read and write in English and follow documented procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, solder and x-ray medical devices and related parts using microscopes and tools.
• Test units with computerized equipment and inspect components.
• Identify and report production issues to supervisor.
• Maintain clean-room protocol and adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Assist with material replenishment and shift handoffs.
• Support quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
• Operate a range of production equipment and office tools.
• Work in a controlled environment with proper gowning and PPE.
• Possibly lift up to 25 pounds.
