Abbott in Liberty, SC, within the Cardiac Rhythm Management division, seeks an Electronic Assembly Technician. You will perform assembly, welding, soldering, and X-ray inspection of medical devices and components, ensuring quality through microscopy and test equipment.

You will handle casting/coating, mechanical assembly, and packaging while maintaining GMP/ISO compliance in a controlled clean-room environment. Strong hand-eye coordination and basic computer skills are essential.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Electronic assembly experience preferred.
• Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
• Able to interpret and understand production documents and drawings.
• GMP/ISO standards knowledge preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assembles, welds, solders and x-rays medical devices and related parts using microscopes and applicable tools.
• Locates and corrects problems by examining x-rays and performing visual inspection of parts; repairs and tests units.
• Examines devices and components for bubbles, voids, and epoxy issues; patches as needed and tests functionality.
• Packages devices and related accessories; reviews device documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintains clean-room environment and follows regulatory procedures; communicates production issues promptly.
