Abbott is seeking an Assembly Technician at its Temecula, CA location within the Vascular Devices division. You will perform diverse assembly and testing tasks on pacemakers, ICDs, leads, and related medical device parts under supervision.

The role requires careful inspection, testing with precision tools, and adherence to FDA regulations in a cleanroom environment; excellent manual dexterity and teamwork are essential.

Responsabilités

• Performs Electronic Assembly functions: Assembles, welds, solders and x-rays medical devices and related parts using microscopes and applicable tools.
• Locates and corrects problems by examining x-rays and performing visual inspection of parts.
• Repairs and tests units using computerized test equipment.
• Performs Casting/Coating functions: examines devices after molding to locate bubbles, nicks and excess epoxy; uses drills, reamers, taps and knives to access bubbles and remove epoxy; patches and repairs bubbles or voids and bakes parts to cure epoxy patches.
• Performs Mechanical Assembly functions: kits, assembles, bonds coats and processes devices using microscopes and tools; inspects parts/assemblies; repairs components.
• Performs Packaging functions: kits, assembles and packages devices using tools; reviews device documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Other duties: set-up/test equipment; notify supervisor of replenishments and production difficulties; perform related duties; support quality, environmental and regulatory requirements.
