Job summary

Baxter Healthcare in Skaneateles, NY is seeking an Assembly Technician. You will read and follow assembly processes, set up test equipment, perform routine assembly including soldering and RTV, and operate measurement tools.

You will collaborate with a diverse team, maintain accurate records, and strive to meet productivity and quality standards while handling lifting tasks up to 40 lbs. A high school diploma and at least one year of assembly experience are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of successful assembly experience
• Ability to read, write and use basic math; maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks
• Adapt to changing work environment including automation and rotation among workstations
• Work well with others and participate in team problem-solving activities
• Overtime may be required

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow assembly processes
• Assist in setup of test equipment and perform tests as required
• Perform routine assembly operations including soldering, RTV, epoxies; fold, label and box product
• Use measurement equipment or learn to use it
• Maintain records and meet productivity and quality requirements
• Lift up to 40 lbs and work in standing, sitting, and repetitive positions
• Work with a diverse group of people and maintain a positive attitude
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision and good judgment
