Job summary

Cretex Medical in Minnesota is seeking a Production Operator/Assembler to perform basic to advanced machine operations, assembly, inspection, and secondary processes in a fast-paced environment. This role requires proficiency across multiple production areas, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Shift options include 8:00 AM–6:00 PM Thursday–Saturday, with every other Sunday; on-site work for a medical device manufacturing

Qualifications

• 1+ years of manufacturing experience; higher level roles will require more years.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions in English.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of clean room environment procedures and regulations preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Experience using a microscope for Stamping and Molding Implant roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and/or dimensional inspection using microscopes, gauges, calipers, or other measurement tools, as required.
• Complete required documentation such as production records, quality checks, setup sheets, and history records.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implement process enhancements.
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions, standard work, and applicable quality/ISO/cGMP requirements.
• Cross train across manufacturing areas.
• Assemble and package components and medical devices with increased complexity per specifications.
• Operate advanced manual and semi-automated equipment.
• Perform in-process quality checks and resolve assembly issues.
• Execute advanced secondary operations (e.g., trimming, deburring, cleaning, passivation, laser marking, laser welding, label generation & inspection, and/or finishing of components).
