Job summary

eTeam is seeking an Operator I to produce high-quality medical device components in a regulated manufacturing environment. Under supervision, you will perform assembly, repair, and testing and maintain records and traceability.

You will follow established procedures, support quality initiatives, and engage in Lean manufacturing efforts to improve efficiency. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Read, understand, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail with small components and parts.
  • Make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Experience using electronic data collection systems and computer software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; team oriented Manufacturing environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly, repair, and testing operations according to documented procedures and manufacturing standards.
  • Produce high-quality medical device components while meeting production and quality requirements.
  • Maintain accurate production records, quality documents, and traceability records.
  • Follow safety guidelines and use required safety equipment during all manufacturing activities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Identify and communicate production issues, process improvements, and solutions to manufacturing leadership.
  • Ensure job documentation and work instructions remain accurate and up to date.
  • Support quality management systems, environmental requirements, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with team members, management, and visitors.
  • Prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks based on production needs and deadlines.
