Job summary

eTeam is seeking an Operator I to produce high-quality medical device components in a regulated manufacturing environment. Under supervision, you will perform assembly, repair, and testing and maintain records and traceability.

You will follow established procedures, support quality initiatives, and engage in Lean manufacturing efforts to improve efficiency. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Ensure job documentation and work instructions remain accurate and up to date.
  • Support quality management systems, environmental requirements, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with team members, management, and visitors.
  • Prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks based on production needs and deadlines.

Pay Range: $(18.00 - 19.24)/hr on W2 all-inclusive without benefits

Duration: 12+ Months (Possibility of Extension)

Shift Timings: Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM-2:00 AM

Position Summary:

The Operator I is responsible for producing high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing environment. Under close supervision, this role performs a variety of assembly, repair, and testing operations on medical device assemblies and related components.

The position requires following established procedures, maintaining accurate production records, supporting quality initiatives, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. The Operator I must demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Manufacturing Environment & Dress Requirements

This position requires working in a controlled manufacturing environment. Employees must follow strict gowning and cleanliness requirements.

  • Clothing must be clean, non-shedding, and free of loose threads, frayed edges, glitter, sequins, tassels, or other materials that may contaminate the production area.
  • Loose-knit garments, sweaters, fleece, or clothing that sheds fibers are not permitted.
  • Clothing must fit properly under required protective garments.
  • Open-toe, open-heel shoes, sandals, slippers, clogs, or shoes that expose toes are not permitted.
  • Socks or stockings are required.
  • Shoes must have a heel no higher than 2 inches and must not have pointed heels.
  • Full coverage clothing is required; sleeveless tops, short shirts, and inappropriate-length pants or skirts are not permitted.
  • Jewelry or body piercings that may damage gloves or cannot be covered are not allowed.
  • Nail polish, artificial nails, acrylic nails, and similar nail coatings are not permitted.
  • Makeup and scented personal products are not permitted in the production area.
  • Open wounds must be properly covered with a bandage.
  • Clothing and personal items must comply with all facility safety and contamination-control requirements.
