Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Production Assembler for a medical device company in the Totowa/Paterson area. This role involves hands-on assembly, quality inspections, and strict adherence to SOPs and safety protocols in a cleanroom-capable setting.

You will work 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday, with pay at $18/hour and overtime at $27/hour where applicable. This is a contract-to-hire position onsite in Paterson, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and production operations for medical device manufacturing in a clean, organized setting.
• Assemble parts, components, and finished products using hand tools, power tools, and production equipment.
• Inspect products visually to verify quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
• Follow written work instructions, SOPs, and production procedures consistently.
• Complete all required production documentation and paperwork accurately and on time.
• Handle, move, and stage materials throughout the production process in a safe and efficient manner.
• Package finished products according to established guidelines and quality requirements.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including cleanroom assembly spaces where applicable.
• Support multiple departments and manufacturing processes as needed to meet production demands.
• Meet or exceed daily production goals while maintaining high quality standards.
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE.
• Operate basic production machinery and equipment as required for the role.
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment by communicating effectively and collaborating with coworkers.
