Midtown Community Health Center is hiring a Patient Service Representative to greet patients, schedule appointments, and handle registrations with accuracy and care.
You will verify demographics and insurance, collect payments, and maintain HIPAA confidentiality while delivering excellent customer service in a busy health center environment.
Job Title: Patient Service Representative
Schedule:Full-time, 4/10 hour shifts; Mon-Thurs from 7:30-6:00
Starting Pay Rate: $18.56 per hour

The position highly influences the first impression and effectiveness of patient experience while serving as the initial and final point of contact for patients and other visitors. Assists patients with inquires of all types to include scheduling, prior authorizations for insured patients, referral information, treatment plans and other general information regarding MTCH dental practices. Responsible for completing the registration process, obtaining signatures on release and consent forms, verifying and updating patient demographic and insurance information, and collecting fees. Must have reliable transportation and willing to travel for coverage and training purposes. Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the organization
High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-year dental office experience preferred, but not required.
Ability to communicate in English and Spanish to meet the mission of Midtown. Relates well with others in a team-based environment, works quickly and accurately under pressure, communicates effectively in both written and oral, and has basic computer skills.
