Medical Delivery Driver / North Aurora, IL

Join MedSpeed as a Medical Delivery Driver in North Aurora, IL. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate of $15.00, with a $1.00 shift differential starting at 10pm, working Monday through Friday from 5:00pm to 1:30am.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, and interoffice mail.
• Use a hand-held scanner to track items accurately.
• Follow operating policies, procedures, and schedules.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Load and unload vehicles safely.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Route and schedule may vary; flexibility is required.
• Work collaboratively with team members and clients.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• At least 19 years old with a valid driver’s license for 3 years.
• Dependable, reliable, and familiar with technology.
• Ability to follow procedures and determine efficient routes.
• Pass drug and alcohol screening.
• Clean driving record.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable walking long distances and standing for extended periods.
