Medical Driver – North Aurora - $15.00 hourly – FT (Mon-Fri 5:00pm - 1:30am)
*Note: this position offers a +$1.00 hourly shift differential starting at 10pm

Responsibilities as a Medical Driver

• Drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, and interoffice mail in a company vehicle.
• Operate a hand-held scanning device for tracking items.
• Follow operating policies, procedures, and schedules strictly.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness.
• Perform all route duties as assigned, demonstrating teamwork and adaptability.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19+ years old with a valid driver’s license for 3+ years.
• Dependability, reliability, and familiarity with technology.
• Ability to follow procedures and determine efficient routes.
• Pass drug & alcohol screenings.
• Drive a non-commercial vehicle in various weather conditions.
• Excellent driving record.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination if mandated locally.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds and walk/stand for long periods.
