Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a dedicated Medical Driver to join our logistics team in Duluth, MN. You will routinely operate a company vehicle, transport medical specimens, records, and supplies, and ensure accurate tracking with a hand-held scanner.

The role offers a full-time schedule with predictable hours and opportunities for growth. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and pass drug and alcohol screens as part of the onboarding

Qualifications

Must be 19+ years old with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.
Excellent driving history and safe driving record.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials.
Use a hand-held scanner to track items through the transportation cycle.
Follow all policies, procedures and schedules; present a professional image to clients.
Load and unload vehicles with appropriate equipment and maintain clean, organized units.
Coordinate routes and perform duties across assigned routes as needed.
