MedSpeed is hiring a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Halethorpe, MD. The role is part-time, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM on Mon, Thu and Fri, with responsibilities including safely transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and more in a company-owned vehicle across Maryland.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology
• Able to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen
• Good customer service and interpersonal skills
• Clean driving history and ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Safely driving and transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail and related materials in a company-owned vehicle
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle
• Observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules
• Present a professional image to clients and the public
• Load and unload items and maintain a clean, neat vehicle
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and manage varying routes as assigned
• Collaborate with teammates and clients to support MedSpeed operations
