MedSpeed in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Medical Driver for a full-time, on-site role. The position runs Monday–Friday, 9:30am–4pm, with a company vehicle for transporting lab specimens and medical items.

You’ll use a handheld scanner, follow schedules, and present a professional image to clients. Qualifications include a valid driver’s license with 3+ years driving, strong customer service, dependability, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen
• Drive a non-commercial vehicle throughout the shift on various roads and in varying weather conditions
• Must have an excellent driving history
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• While drop-off and pick-up responsibilities may vary and routes may be inconsistent, the ability to handle varying item weights and physical demands is always required
• Must be able to lift items off storage racks
• Must be comfortable walking long distances and standing for long periods of time

Responsabilités

• Drive a company-owned vehicle and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays and related materials
• Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle
• Observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules
• Present a professional image to clients and the public
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle
• Route duties vary based on client needs and may change over time
• Demonstrate teamwork and adaptability with teammates and clients
• Build a collaborative MedSpeed team culture
