MedSpeed is seeking a Medical Driver in San Mateo, CA to operate a company-owned vehicle delivering lab specimens and medical materials. The role requires a clean driving record, a valid license for at least 3 years, and a strong focus on safety, customer service, and professional conduct.

The position offers a weekday schedule, on-site work with a company vehicle, and opportunities for training, advancement, and benefits as part of a nationwide healthcare logistics team.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver's license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-owned vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies and related materials.
• Operate a handheld scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Follow operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and keep the vehicle clean.
• Support multiple routes as needed and adapt to changing assignments.
• Collaborate with teammates and clients to promote teamwork.
