MedSpeed is hiring a Medical Driver in San Diego, CA. You will operate a company vehicle and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, and related materials. The role runs on weekends with a fixed schedule and requires professional client interaction.

The position demands a valid driver’s license (3+ years), reliability, and the ability to pass drug screens. Vaccination may be required by location and local mandates.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination depending on location and local mandates.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records and related materials.
• Operate a hand-held scanner to track items through the transportation cycle.
• Follow safety policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Load/unload items and maintain a clean vehicle interior.
• Demonstrate safe driving and professional client interactions.
• Assist with route planning and adapt to varying client needs.
