Job summary

MedSpeed is seeking a Logistics Service Representative/Medical Driver in Omaha, NE to safely transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, and hospital supplies in a company vehicle. You will use a handheld scanner and follow schedules with a professional client-facing presence.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and excellent customer service. Training is provided, with flexible, fixed schedules and the possibility of early pay access.

Qualifications

• Must be 19+ years of age with an active driver’s license for 3+ years.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with technology and devices used in transport.
• Ability to follow procedures closely.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screens.
• Operate vehicles with dashcam recording systems in compliance with laws.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a MedSpeed company vehicle to transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals and related materials.
• Operate a handheld scanner to track items through transportation cycles.
• Follow all operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload items using appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Complete routes as assigned and adapt to changing duties and routes.
