Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of physician credentialing experience.

• Discrete handling of confidential information is essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete credentialing applications accurately for provider enrollment into health insurance networks.
• Review provider documents and compare them against payer requirements to ensure completeness.
• Research and correct directory listing errors and payer participation issues.
• Follow up with payer contacts to obtain credentialing and contracting statuses.
• Outreach to providers to obtain signatures or missing documents.
• Organize provider files and update credentialing status in the project management software.
• Obtain payer fee schedules and communicate updates.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency; handle confidential information discreetly.
• Uphold UVVC core values and conduct standards in daily work.
• Maintain PHI confidentiality in accordance with policies and regulations.
