Job summary

Labcorp is hiring a Courier for the Roseville area on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:30pm–7:30pm) with a 10% shift differential. The role involves loading daily supplies, completing pickups, delivering to the branch, and handling specimens safely. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Prior Labcorp experience and experience with handheld devices are preferred. Key responsibilities include working with dispatch for extra pickups and using route-optimization tools.

Qualifications

• No experience or education required.
• Preferred: Labcorp experience and 2+ years of courier or route-based delivery in medical or laboratory settings.
• 1+ years handling medical specimens or supporting hospital/lab operations.

Responsibilities

• Load all supplies needed for daily pickups.
• Complete daily pickup schedule promptly.
• Deliver daily picks to the branch at shift end.
• Handle specimens and lab samples safely.
• Operate company vehicle and obey traffic laws.
• Use handheld device to manage pickups.
• Coordinate with dispatcher for additional pickups.

Labcorp is seeking a Courier to join our team in Roseville, MN

Work Schedule: 2nd shift Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 7:30pm

additional 10% shift differential included for 2nd shift

Job Responsibilities:

• Load all necessary supplies needed for the daily pickups

• Complete daily pick up schedule in a timely manner

• Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift

• Handle all specimens and lab samples in safe and efficient manner

• Safely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic laws

• Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up

• Work directly with dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed

• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• No experience or education required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current or Prior Labcorp experience

• 2 or more years of professional courier or route‑based delivery experience within a medical or laboratory company.

• 1 or more years of experience handling medical specimens or supporting hospital / laboratory operations

• 2 or more years of experience using handheld delivery‑management devices or route optimization tools, such as scanners, GPS‑based routing software, or dispatch applications

Additional Job Standards:

• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

• Be 21 years of age or older

• Punctual with strong time management skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Customer service experience

• Ability to problem solve customer issues

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Flexibility to work overtime as needed

• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
