Job summary

UMC Health System seeks a part-time Medical Courier to transport medical items to labs, hospitals, clinics, and other facilities, including on-campus movements for guests. You will drive campus shuttle golf carts, move people between sites, and record mileage and vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities include delivering labs, deposits, mail, supplies, equipment, linens, medications, and paperwork, interacting with staff and patients, and performing related courier tasks on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to handle physical exertion and movement.

Responsibilities

• Transport labs, deposits, mail, supplies, equipment, linens, medications, and paperwork to and from hospitals, labs, or partner facilities.
• Drive the UMC campus shuttle or golf cart to move patients, employees, or visitors between on-campus sites.
• Log vehicle mileage and maintenance information in the company logbook.
• Perform other duties as assigned related to UMC Courier.
