People Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Medical Coordinator to empower residents and support nursing staff with essential clerical tasks. You will help coordinate referrals and schedule appointments, while ensuring medication supplies and a clean, organized med room. Training is provided and a mission-driven environment awaits.

Formación

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license per agency policy.
• Ability to meet physical requirements (standing, walking, sitting, bending, etc.).

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate referrals to community-based medical specialty providers.
• Assist with scheduling and attending appointments and procedures for persons served.
• Assist in delegated nursing care as directed by RN.
• Ensure medication stock is sufficient and the medication room is organized and clean.
• Communicate with clinical staff to ensure follow up to medical appointments.
