People Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Medical Coordinator to empower residents and support nursing staff with essential clerical tasks. You will help coordinate referrals and schedule appointments, while ensuring medication supplies and a clean, organized med room. Training is provided and a mission-driven environment awaits.

Competenze

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license per agency policy.
• Ability to meet physical requirements (standing, walking, sitting, bending, etc.).

Mansioni

What You’lldo

• Coordinate referrals to community based medical specialty providers
• Assists with scheduling and attending appointments and procedures with persons served as needed
• Assists in delegated nursing care as directed by RN
• Ensures there is sufficient stock of medications, and the medication room is organized and clean
• Communicates with clinical staff to ensure follow up to medical appointments in their clinical area.

What You Bring

• Lifting requirement of 35 lbs.
