Job summary

Merck offers a 12-week summer internship in Global Scientific and Value Content within the Research Labs Division. You will work on developing and communicating scientific content, review material for accuracy, and collaborate with Global Medical Affairs and other stakeholders.

This internship emphasizes hands-on experience, writing and analysis, and exposure to strategic planning. Ideal candidates are pursuing a science degree, will return to school in Fall 2027, and can work full-time starting

Qualifications

Candidates must be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in the sciences or a related field.
Candidates must be returning to school in the Fall of 2027.
Candidates must be available to work full-time for 12 weeks beginning in May 2027.
Candidates must have experience conducting literature searches and using published literature in support of scientific content development.
Candidates must have a basic understanding of biomedical sciences and the ability to categorize literature by therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities

Author content aligned to Annual Value and Implementation Plan under guidance.
Review materials to ensure relevance, accuracy, and citation of literature.
Engage stakeholders in development, review, and approval of materials.
Communicate approved content to key stakeholders.
Use company-approved AI tools to innovate content while maintaining rigor and compliance.
