Job summary

Merck invites motivated students in life sciences, medicine, pharmacology, or related fields to join the Future Talent Program for a 12‑week internship. You will contribute to clinical regulatory and strategic communications, gaining exposure to the drug development process and high‑quality documentation practices.

Under a mentor, you will develop scientific writing and communication skills, work across teams, and explore AI tools to enhance CRSC operations.

Qualifications

  • Has completed at least 3 years of a bachelor's or equivalent program in a scientific discipline (e.g., life sciences, data science, pharmacy, or medicine) and is currently enrolled in a degree program.
  • Is available to work full‑time for 12 consecutive weeks beginning in June of 2027.
  • Possesses strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Demonstrates strong scientific communication skills, including the ability to write scientific documents and deliver scientific presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation and communication of clinical trial related documents and summaries.
  • Assist with quality, compliance, and operational excellence activities to enable clinical research execution.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and mentors to gain hands‑on experience in medical writing and regulatory communication.
