The ideal candidate will have experience coding in a facility setting, be self-motivated, positive, and detail-oriented. Inpatient and outpatient hospital coding experience is required. Job functions include:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Code facility services quickly and accurately for a wide range of surgical procedures and diagnostic studies
  • Follow NCCI edits and bundling requirements for facilities
  • Implement implant charging and coding in a facility setting
  • Research and resolve coding issues independently to ensure proper payment
  • Collaborate with the billing department for smooth AR processes
  • Identify trends and recommend corrective actions
  • Work with administration to improve processes
  • Represent Trajectory and its clients professionally
  • Maintain excellent customer service for clients and providers' patients
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager
