Job summary

Nevada Pediatric Specialists in Henderson, NV is seeking a Medical Coding & Revenue Cycle Specialist (CPC or CCS required) to support coding and billing functions and contribute to revenue cycle improvements.

The ideal candidate has CPC or CCS credentials, at least one year of hands-on coding or medical billing experience, and CPT/ICD-10-CM/HCPCS proficiency within a physician practice or healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• CPC or CCS certification required.
• Minimum one year of recent hands-on coding or medical billing experience.
• Experience in a physician practice, medical billing company, hospital, or healthcare organization within the past 7 years.
• Strong CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding knowledge.
• Knowlege of commercial insurance, Medicaid, and claim processing workflows.
• Ability to commute to Henderson, Nevada, and travel to Las Vegas 1-2 times per week for training.

Responsibilities

• Review and assign accurate medical codes.
• Support claim submission and reimbursement accuracy.
• Research and resolve coding and billing issues.
• Work denied and rejected claims.
• Assist with appeals and payer communications.
• Collaborate with providers regarding documentation and coding opportunities.
• Help improve workflows and revenue cycle performance.
• Crosstrain in multiple areas of revenue cycle operations.
