Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of medical coding, charge review, billing edits, or healthcare revenue cycle experience.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required or CCS preferred within six months of hire, if not already obtained.

Responsibilities

• Review medical documentation and assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers for compliant billing.
• Perform routine coding review, charge reconciliation, and provider education under supervision.
