We are seeking a mid-level to experienced Medical Coders to join our remote coding team, specializing in Lab and Radiology coding. This role is critical for supporting high-quality coding practices, ensuring accuracy in diagnosis coding, and verifying lab panel unbundling. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and meets both productivity and quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Code diagnoses (DX) for Lab services, comprising approximately 80% of daily workload.
• Verify Lab panels for appropriate unbundling and compliance.
• Perform Radiology coding for both professional (Pro-Fee) and facility charges.
• Accurately assign CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes based on medical record documentation.
• Ensure coding assignments meet established standards for productivity and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in Medical Coding, with a focus on Lab and Radiology coding.
• Strong understanding of diagnosis coding and procedures related to Lab services.
• Familiarity with professional and facility Radiology coding and charging processes.
• Experience with unbundling lab panels and resolving potential edits.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or equivalent credential preferred.
• 100% Remote
