Job summary

UT Health Sciences in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an Administrative Associate 2 to support the undergraduate medical education mission of the Department of Medicine. The role assists the Clerkship Director with medical students in clerkships, electives, junior internships, and career explorations, and also supports the residency program and the Chair.

Responsibilities include coordinating orientation, lectures, exams, and rotations; gathering evaluations; maintaining documentation for rotations;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; transcript required.
• Four (4) years of office experience; OR Bachelor’s Degree in lieu of experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and ability to manage calendars, emails, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as departmental contact and support for medical students in clerkships and electives.
• Schedule orientation, lectures, midterm evaluations, exams, and rotations.
• Gather student evaluations and tally grades for submission.
• Maintain rotation documentation and distribute information to faculty and staff.
• Provide documents, support, and minutes for meetings; maintain confidentiality.
• Assist Residency Program Coordinator and Director with residency-related activities.
• Prepare and disseminate correspondence for Department Chair and faculty.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• This position may occasionally require evening work.
