Qualifications
- Administrative experience in law, medicine, insurance/workers compensation, telephonic communication, or negotiation.
- Able to apply common sense to carry out instructions and solve problems with several concrete variables.
Responsibilities
- Completes the Medical Claims Training Program.
- Manages a caseload of workers’ compensation medical-only claims from inception to resolution.
- Learns to use computer systems employed in claims management and communicates effectively with clients and staff.
- Determines coverage and investigates new claims, reserves appropriately, and ensures compliance with legal requirements.
