Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation seeks a Security Supervisor to coordinate and supervise shift operations of Medical Center security personnel, maintaining service levels for patients, visitors and staff. Performs all other duties as assigned.

You will direct activities, ensure staffing within budget, produce written and verbal shift reports, and work with the Director and Manager to maintain continuous service, while upholding safety standards for all on site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Completion of Law Enforcement Course is required.
• Completion of Criminal Justice or Private Security Curriculum is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct activities and subordinates on security shift to ensure effective functioning of the department.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and adhere to budgetary constraints.
• Responsible for written and verbal reports of assigned shift to ensure accurate and complete communication.
• Collaborate with and assist Director and Manager to provide continuity of service.
• Maintain safety and security for patients, visitors, staff during the shift.
• Maintain annual certifications.
• Be prompt and reliable for reporting to work and attending education sessions.
