We are seeking a Medical Case Manager to support our attorney teams by managing the medical aspects of workers' compensation and personal injury cases from intake through resolution. This is a fast-paced, high-volume role requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
- Request, track, and obtain medical records, imaging, and provider reports.
- Maintain organized medical records and case documentation.
- Review and verify AI-generated medical chronologies and summaries for accuracy.
- Identify treatment gaps, pre-existing conditions, and other medical issues that may impact case value.
- Coordinate with clients, healthcare providers, and attorneys regarding treatment and case progress.
- Schedule and track independent medical examinations (IMEs), depositions, and diagnostic appointments.
- Maintain accurate case information and medical milestones within Litify.
- Ensure all medical documentation is properly organized and uploaded according to firm standards.
- Support multiple attorney teams while managing competing deadlines.
- Collaborate with paralegals, case managers, and client service teams to move cases forward efficiently.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical records, medical case management, nursing support, or a legal support role involving medical records.
- Workers' compensation or personal injury experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and treatment documentation.
- Experience using case management software; Litify or Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Comfortable working with AI-powered tools to improve workflow efficiency.Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Spanish fluency is a plus.
