Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Medical AR Billing Supervisor in Towson, MD to lead a team of 10 billing and accounts receivable professionals, ensuring accurate and timely processing. You will oversee daily activities, drive follow-up and collections, and coordinate both facility and professional billing workflows.

This permanent, hybrid position offers a pay range of $60,000–$85,000 per year plus benefits, with opportunities to mentor staff and improve revenue cycle processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of healthcare billing, collections and RCM experience.
• 2+ years in a supervisor or team-lead role overseeing billers.
• Strong background in medical billing and collections; able to assist reps.

TekSystems is currently hiring for a Medical AR Billing Supervisor in the Towson, MD area!

MUST HAVE: 3 years of AR medical billing, follow up and collections experience. Must have 2 or more years of supervisor/team lead experience of medical billers!

Description

Oversee a team of 10 and the daily activities of billing and accounts receivable staff.

Focused on timely and accurate claim processing, follow-up, and collections.

Manage team, performance, time off requests, billing Qs around both facility & professional billing

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree would be a PLUS but not a must

3+ years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare billing, collections, RCM

At least 2+ years as either a team lead/supervisor etc over a team

Strong background in medical billing/collections with the ability to directly assist reps with job tasks

Behavioral/mental health building is a PLUS, but not a must

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $85000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
