Position includes processing claims, data entry, code application, and generating reports. Eligible candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant billing experience;

Qualifications

• Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and submits medical claims to Medi-Cal, Medicare, and other health plans.
• Performs itemization checks and determines eligibility and payment amounts.
• Applies medical codes and adjusts charges as needed.
• Reconciles remittances and posts payments to accounts.
• Assists with data entry and maintains billing records and reports.
