Job summary

Scoliosis Surgery Associates, LLP seeks a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to manage the revenue cycle and bring patient accounts to a zero balance. You will oversee billing for healthcare services, review denials, submit appeals, and coordinate with front desk to ensure accurate registrations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in medical revenue cycle.
• Proven AR follow-up, EDI management, coding, and medical terminology.
• CPC or CPB certification or willingness to obtain within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Analyze claim denials and take corrective action, including corrected claims and appeals.
• Apply adjustments based on insurance guidelines and contracts.
• Manage secondary insurance and patient responsibility.
• Prepare monthly accounts receivable reports and assist in denials management.
