Job summary

Newnan Dermatology is seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to manage patient billing processes end-to-end in a dermatology setting.

You will verify insurance, enter charges, submit claims, handle denials and appeals, and work closely with the Modernizing Medicine EHR system while upholding HIPAA confidentiality. Excellent communication and meticulous attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical billing, preferably in a dermatology setting.
• Proficiency with Modernizing Medicine EHR.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
• Understanding of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills for complex billing issues.

Responsibilities
