ApexNetwork Physical Therapy is looking for a passionate Medical Billing Specialist to join our team in Illinois. This role focuses on accurate billing across locations, handling audits, postings, and patient inquiries with a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Work through the billing cycle for all ApexNetwork PT locations.

• Perform electronic and paper billing.
• Handle phone calls professionally and courteously.
• Collaborate with team to problem solve and meet goals.
• Learn Apex protocol and become proficient with software systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work individually and as a team to work through the billing cycle for all of ApexNetwork PT's locations!
• Billing team members work with account auditing, payment posting, accounts receivable, and patient billing
• Adequately answer patient questions, including providing a benefit review
• Perform electronic and paper billing
• Handle phone calls professionally and with courtesy
• Collaborate with team members to problem solve and achieve team goals
• Understand Apex protocol and become proficient with our software systems
