Total Care Therapy (TCT) is seeking a detailed Medical Billing Specialist for an on-site Dublin, OH role. You will manage billing, collections, and communications with insurers and patients in a collaborative healthcare setting.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year of medical billing experience, an associate degree in a related field, and proficiency with CMS-1500 and Availity. The position offers full-time hours and competitive hourly pay in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting.
• Associate's Degree in Medical Billing, Coding, or related field.
• Proficiency with Google Suite, Excel, Word, CMS-1500 claim forms and Availity.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Log payments from insurance companies and patients, maintaining accurate financial records.
• Submit insurance claims and process billing data efficiently.
• Verify insurance benefits for new and existing clients.
• Follow up on delinquent payments and resolve denial instances.
• File appeals as needed to ensure proper reimbursement.
• Update billing addresses and patient contact information.
• Assist with faxing, answering calls, emails, and text communications.
• Support general office functions related to billing and patient accounts.

You will play a key role in ensuring accurate billing, timely payment processing, and effective communication with insurance providers and patients.

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Collections
