Job summary

Salud Revenue Partners is seeking a Medical Billing Representative to join our professional team in Indiana. This full-time role focuses on billing and collection of medical services, communicating with insurers, and auditing accounts to prevent revenue leakage.

Ideal candidates are proactive, detail-oriented, and able to learn new computer programs quickly. Knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare and CPT/ICD-10 coding is a plus, with opportunities to grow in a supportive, cubicle-office environment.

• Audit previously worked accounts to identify revenue leakage.
• Serve as liaison for Salud clients with client departments, third-party carriers, and the public following Salud standards.

This Account Representative position is an opportunity for an energetic, detail oriented team player to work flexible, full time hours Monday through Friday doing the following:

• Help conduct billing and collection of medical services
• Communicate with insurance companies to resolve issues that delay account resolution
• Audit accounts to ensure that appropriate payments are paid by responsible parties
• Audit previously worked accounts to identify revenue leakage
• Serve as a liaison for Salud clients through communications with client departments, third-party carriers, and the general public following Salud standards of service, mission and visi

Ideal candidate would possess:

• Be driven to learn proactively.
• Contribute to a team while working independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, paying special attention to details.
• Ability to learn computer programs/websites quickly.
• Possess strong problem solving skills.
• Willingness to work in a cubicle office environment with little face to face public interaction.
• Knowledge of insurances, Medicaid and Medicare in a hospital and/or physician office setting.
• CPT/ICD 10 Coding knowledge a plus.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional cubicle office environment or in a secure home office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
