Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associates degree in business or two (2) years of billing and collection work experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Experience in a healthcare environment.
• Experience demonstrating: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), effective English communication, office equipment operation, familiarity with Homecare Homebase, and familiarity with CPT/ICD-10/HCPC medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Submit bills and collect monies; ensure authorizations due for services rendered.
• Data entry, word processing, create and maintain files, and assemble materials for reports and projects.
