The Medical Billing & Collections Specialist is responsible for timely and accurate claim submission, monitoring claim status, resolving rejections and denials, and processing adjustments for Medicare accounts. This role requires critical thinking skills and a solid understanding of Medicare eligibility, payment methodology, and government regulations. Proficiency with Meditech and/or Cerner billing systems is essential to ensure efficient claim processing.
