All for Health, Health for All, Inc. (AFH) is a nonprofit FQHC serving diverse populations across CA and NV. We seek a full-time medical biller/collector to handle billing, posting payments, and patient inquiries in a fast-paced clinical setting.

You will review encounters, submit claims, follow up on unpaid items, and generate Excel reports. Excellent communication and accuracy are essential for timely collections and service quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience with medical billing and terminology preferred.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Review patient encounters for accuracy and completeness.
• Audit encounters from all-payer sources and generate claims daily.
• Submit electronic or paper claims for timely collections.
• Review accounts for insurance or patient follow-up.
• Follow up on unpaid EOBs and RAs promptly.
• Identify and bill secondary or tertiary insurances.
• Post payments and verify contract discounts.
