PureHealth is seeking an experienced billing professional to manage insurance and managed care billing in a fast-paced SNF setting. You will support the Business Office Manager and help keep accounts receivable accurate and current.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely follow-up on denials, knowledge of various payer types, and effective communication with internal teams and providers across a 24/7 post-acute environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 2+ years in AR/collections/billing preferred.
• Experience with managed care and insurance billing advantageous.
• Knowledge of Medicare/insurance concepts helpful.

Responsibilities

• Billing and collections of managed care/insurance payers.
• Verify benefits and document proof of insurance.
• Bill according to terms of managed care contracts.
• Data entry for month-end billing and ensure timely month-end processes.
• Follow up on denials and receivables; communicate effectively with payers.
