Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years hands-on experience with Athena computer system or similar hospital financial system.
• 5 years medical billing experience and reporting.
• 2 years experience in admissions in a medical setting.
• 2 years telephone collection experience in healthcare.
• Maintains positive and effective customer service in a healthcare setting.
• 2 years degree in business or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Rural Health Clinic and outpatient claims for primary and secondary insurance in a timely manner (within 24 hours).
• Achieve cash collection goals and target days outstanding in AR for assigned financial classes.
