Job summary

ZealHire Inc. is seeking a Medical Billing and Collections Analyst to support Biologics by McKesson locations in Cary, NC and other sites. The role focuses on accurate claim processing, denial resolution, and proactive collections in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3+ years of healthcare AR experience, proficiency with CareTend/WayStar, and strong analytical skills. Onsite presence with one day per week in Cary, NC; contract through 7/19/2027 with potential conversion to full-time

Qualifications

• 3+ years of medical billing, healthcare collections, or related AR experience in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with submitting claims, resolving denials, and posting payments.
• Experience with commercial, government, or other payers and resolving denied claims.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit medically billed claims through CareTend and WayStar per payer requirements.
• Verify patient, insurance, authorization, coding, and documentation before submission; fix errors promptly.
• Monitor claim status, aging, denials and follow up with timely corrective actions.
• Contact payers, patients, and internal partners to resolve outstanding balances and document activity.
• Reconcile account information and maintain complete notes and supporting documentation.
