Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in insurance verification or benefits investigation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize under pressure.
• Conscientious, detail-oriented, flexible and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Enter all communication and documentation in the Biologics MIS system.
• Secure copay assistance funding for patients and communicate resources.
• Interact with providers regarding patient updates and document interactions.
• Initiate prior authorizations via portals, phone, or fax using clinical notes.
• Follow up on assistance applications with third-party entities until a determination.
• Manage inbound calls from patients, providers, and clinics regarding services and financial support.
• Coordinate with benefits investigation to start pharmacy dispensing workflow.
• Triage prescriptions to pharmacies or hub providers when Biologics cannot serve the patient.
